Legendary former India batter Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, has been engaged to Saaniya Chandok, the granddaughter of reputed Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. The engagement ceremony was an intimate affair attended by close friends, family members, and relatives.

Chandhok is the owner of Mr Paws, a premium pet salon spa and store in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Ravi Ghai is the owner of the InterContinental hotel and ice-cream brand Brooklyn Creamery. Chandhok studied at Cathedral & John Connon School before finishing her studies in business management from the London School of Economics in 2020.

Arjun, meanwhile, is a left-arm fast bowling all-rounder, who plays for the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Mumbai Indians. He started his domestic career with Mumbai in the 2020-21 season. He got his maiden cap for Mumbai in a T20 clash against Haryana. Arjun also played for Mumbai at the junior level before making it to the senior team. He was also a part of the Indian U-19 squad.

Arjun failed to cement his place in the Mumbai team due to stiff competition. The talented youngster decided to shift base to Goa in the 2022-23 season. He made his first-class and List A debuts for Goa during the season.

Arjun has played 17 first-class, 18 List A, and 24 T20 matches. He has scored 532, 102, and 119 runs across the three formats, respectively. Meanwhile, with the ball, he has picked up 37, 25, and 27 wickets, respectively.

The 25-year-old has only played five IPL games so far. He has picked up three wickets at an average of 38 and an economy rate of 9.37. In the IPL 2025 mega-auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last year, MI roped in Arjun for INR 30 lakh. However, he was subsequently dropped from Goa's team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Arjun didn't get a game in IPL 2025 for the Hardik Pandya-led side. The Mumbai-born will look forward to doing well in the upcoming domestic season and getting his career back on track.
