DPS Rudrapur defeated Mustallions in the second semi-final of the ongoing Brosid T20 Bash by six wickets to qualify for the final of the event. Kshitij Rawat was adjudged the Player of the Match and scored a brilliant half-century.
The final match will be played between Brosid Cricket Club and DPS Rudrapur on Sunday, December 25.
DPS Rudrapur's team entered the final by defeating Mustallions riding on the back of Kshitij Rawat's brilliant half-century innings in the second semi-final match of Brosid T-20 Bash that was played at the Khalifa Cricket Academy Khusro PG College ground in Bareilly.
Batting first after winning the toss, the Mustallions Cricket Club team could score only 121 runs in 20 overs with the help of Deepak Rana's 39, Prince Upadhyay's 22, and Rohit Kumar's 18 runs. DPS Rudrapur's fast bowler Dushyant claimed three wickets, Gajendra Kushwaha got two wickets, Arjun Singh and Adarsh Yadav got one wicket each.
In reply, the DPS Rudrapur team achieved the target after losing four wickets in 15 overs with the help of Kshitij Rawat's brilliant half-century innings of 57 runs and Saurabh Singh's 32 runs .
DPS achieved the target despite losing four wickets in 15 overs. The bowlers who did well for the losing side happened to be Mo. Arvaz, Prince and Dr. K.K as they bagged one wicket each.
