The series goes on as England (ENG) and Pakistan (PAK) collide in the second Test of the tour, which is set to be played at the historic setting of the Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The all-important match will get underway on Thursday, August 27. Star player Babar Azam is expected to make a comeback and lead the visitors in the upcoming encounter.

England currently hold a 1-0 lead in the series, having won the opener in Headingley by a mammoth margin of an innings and 103 runs. They will, however, be without the all-rounder Brydon Carse since the cricketer is currently under an ECB investigation for a nightclub incident. Joe Root will, however, not be bothered as much since the team is in excellent form at the moment and has a chance to clinch the series.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will be happy that Babar will finally be back to the setup, having missed the Leeds clash due to a finger injury. The loss has hurt them dearly since they are now at the bottom of the World Test Championship points table. But they can still make a case for themselves by winning the three-match series. It will be interesting to see how Pakistanis go about it in the upcoming clash.

Lord's Cricket Ground, London: Pitch Report

The pitch at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London is expected to offer a flat deck, and the batters are expected to relish in their time at the venue. A few could have their name on the Honours Board as well. The previous men's Test played here was finished in under a couple of days, and the surface was deemed "unsatisfactory" by the ICC. With overcast conditions expected across the entirety of the Test, fast bowlers would enjoy bowling with the fresh seam here.
