Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will square off in the 64th match of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, on Wednesday, May 17. Both teams have clashed 31 times overall, with Punjab winning 16 times and Delhi coming out victorious on 15 occasions.

Shikhar Dhawan and Co. are currently in the eighth position of the IPL 2023 points table, with 12 points. DC, on the other hand, are on the bottom of the points tally with eight points. PBKS will seek to win to keep their slim playoff qualifying hopes alive.

PBKS and DC clashed with each other in their previous IPL encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 13, with the Shikhar Dhawan-led side registering a win by 31 runs. With the defeat, DC got eliminated from the contention of the IPL 2023 playoff.

Punjab have had a decent season this year, but they failed to maintain their winning streak throughout the season. Meanwhile, David Warner and cO. have had an awful season as they managed to open their account only after five consecutive losses. However, the battle between PBKS and DC in Dharamsala will be exciting to watch.
