Pitch Report
The last set of group stage matches on June 19 will take place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The surface is usually good for batting, with support for both pacers and spinners. Fast bowlers often get extra bounce and some early swing. With rain predicted over the next few days, pace bowlers could enjoy favourable conditions.
As black soil is extensively used at the venue, spinners might also have a say in the outcome. The first two matches of the day might be harder for batting due to the damp nature of the surface. Even in the night game, the pitch may become more difficult for batting as the match progresses, unless interrupted by rain.
