After almost 10 days of non-stop T20I action between India and the West Indies, the final T20I is all-set for a nail-biting contest, as the series is equally poised. While, the hosts outplayed the Hardik Pandya-led side in the first couple of games, India made a strong comeback and managed to win the next couple of games comprehensively to level the series 2-2.
The Men in Blue will look to ride on the form of left-handed youngsters Tilak Varma and Yashasvi Jaiswal who made impressive debuts in this series. Shubman Gill's form was dicey in the first three games, however, he also returned with an impressive 77 off 47 balls in the fourth game to prove his worth.
Speaking of the West Indies, despite early wickets in the fourth game, they managed to put up an impressive total on the board. However, they badly missed the services of Alzarri Joseph, who was replaced by Odean Smith. The Windies will be high on confidence given their impressive all-round performances in the series thus far.
Pitch and conditions
The surface at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground has a reputation for being a batting paradise. The pitch has an even bounce and assists the pacers more than the spinners. Thus, anything above 200 in the first innings will be a par total at this ground.
Probable Playing XI For WI vs IND
West Indies
Shai Hope, who replaced Johnson Charles in the fourth T20I and played a good knock, is expected to retain his spot. In-form ace pacer Alzarri Joseph, who couldn't make it to the playing XI in the previous game, is also expected to sit out, while Odean Smith will fill his spot.
Probable Playing XI: Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Shai Hope, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Rovman Powell (c), Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, Akeal Hosein, Odean Smith, Obed McCoy
India
The team will look to go with their winning combination from Saturday. As a result, no changes are expected to be made by the Indian side in their playing XI for the final T20I. Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was ably supported by other bowlers in the previous game, and hence, bowling looks formidable at the moment for the visitors.
Probable Playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Sanju Samson (wk), Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar
