With the first couple of games going either ways, the things are all spiced up for the third ODI between West Indies (WI) and Pakistan (PAK), as the teams face off for one last time in the ongoing series on Tuesday, August 12 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

Speaking of the hosts, West Indies, they are coming on the back of a win that finally ended their long-standing losing streak. They now have the opportunity to win the game against Pakistan on Tuesday, and lift the trophy for the series. Clinching the three-match assignment will be a huge morale boost for them, as they are in the race to qualify for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

The visiting Pakistan side, on the contrary, did start their campaign on a winning note, but ended up losing to the Caribbeans in the second game, which allowed them to draw levels before moving on to the series finale. Having already lost the T20I leg, the Men in Green would want to sign off from their tour with a win in the 50-over format, before shifting their focus to the shortest form of the game once again for the impending T20 Asia Cup 2025.
