India and Afghanistan last met in a T20 international in the T20 World Cup last year in Abu Dhabi and the Men in Blue clinched a clinical victory by 66 runs. They batted first and posted a massive total of 210/2 on the board courtesy of half-centuries from openers Rohit and Rahul. In reply, Mohammed Shami took 3/32 and R Ashwin 2/14 as they restricted Afghanistan to just 144/7.
