Rajasthan Royals (RR) go toe-to-toe with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 52 of IPL 2023 on Sunday, May 07 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Both sides began their respective campaign by playing against each other in Match 4 in Hyderabad where the Royals thumped the home side by 72 runs.
It’s been a contrasting start for Sanju Samson’s RR side as they won four of the first five matches but then suffered four defeats in the next five. With ten points and a positive net run rate of 0.448, they are placed in the fourth position in the table. On the other hand, Aiden Markram’s SRH is going through another bad season.
The Orange Army has played nine games so far with just three victories and six losses. With six points and a negative NRR of 0.540, they are languishing at the ninth spot in the table.
