The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be up against the might of the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 65 of the Indian Premier League 2026. The game is set to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday, May 20

The Knight Riders have had a mixed season but recently found good form. Right now, they have 11 points from 12 matches. They must win their last two games to have any chance of making the playoffs. If they lose this match, they are nearly out of the tournament.

The Indians travel to Kolkata after a very hard season. They have won only four out of 12 matches and have eight points. Because of this, they cannot reach the playoffs this year. However, Mumbai has many star players. They want to win for their pride and stop Kolkata from reaching the next round.

The two teams first met this season on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In that game, Mumbai won by five wickets. Kolkata batted first and scored a big total of 220 runs. But Mumbai chased it down easily, thanks to Rohit Sharma, who scored a fast 78 runs.
