The KL Rahul-led LSG began their 2024 campaign with disappointment as they lost against season one champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a margin of twenty runs at Jaipur. But they are ready to make a comeback in their first home match against the Kings in front of huge support.

Speaking about the last game of the Super Giants, after the top order collapse, KL Rahul 58(44) made a comeback to competitive cricket after a long break from injury. He played a superb Innings but failed to up the ante when required. Along with him Nicholas Pooran 64(41) also played superb innings but unfortunately failed to finish the match. KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran stitched a fantastic partnership of 85(52) after an early collapse but failed to take the team over the victory line.

Speaking about the bowlers, Krunal Pandya (4-0-19-0) bowled a fantastic spell which helped them to restrict the Royals below 200 who were going really well, and it kept Super Giants in the game. Super Giants will be hoping that these three continue their good form and a good start from the top-order and bowlers as well.
