India (IND) and Afghanistan (AFG) will face off in the 9th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

India are coming into the contest after a six-wicket victory over Australia. Ravindra Jadeja led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets each. Australia were bowled out for 199, and India chased down the target in 41.2 overs with six wickets in hand. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul rescued India from a 2-3 start with a 165-run partnership. Kohli scored 85 off 116 balls, while Rahul scored 97* off 115 balls. 

Afghanistan, on the other hand, are coming into the match after a six-wicket loss to Bangladesh. Only Rahmanullah Gurbaz crossed the 30-run mark as Afghanistan was bowled out for 158. In the bowling department, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Azmatullah Omarzai all picked up one wicket each
