Pakistan vs India, Asia Cup 2023, Super Four, Match 3: Stats Preview of Players' Records and Approaching Milestones

India (IND) and Pakistan (PAK) will horns  for the second time in the third match of Super Four of Super 11 Asia Cup 2023 on September 10 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

India will be coming into the contest on the back of a solid 10-wicket win over Nepal in their second game while their first game against Pakistan did not produce a result due to rain. Ishan Kishan Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are among the runs for India in Asia Cup 2023, with Kishan and  Pandya scoring their respective fifties in 138-run stand against Pakistan. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill too registered their half-centuries against Nepal, chasing 145 in 23 overs without losing a wicket

In the bowling department, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj picked up three wickets each against Nepal while Kuldeep Yadav was much impressive and economical. India will look to continue their dominance when they meet Pakistan in Colombo in the third match of Super Four.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will be entering into the contest on the back of clinical display with both bat and ball. Though they had a washed-out game against India, Pakistan have managed to bowl out the opponents on all the three occasions. Out of 30 wickets taken by Pakistan, 24 have come from pacers while spinners have accounted for just 6 wickets.

The pace trio of Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi have together accounted for 23 out of 24 wickets pacers have taken. In the batting department, Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed scored centuries against Nepal while Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq contributed with fifties against Bangladesh. Pakistan will look to continue their dominance and with a win against India will certainly fancy their chances for yet another final-berth.
