Stats: India Women register first-ever T20I bilateral series win against England Women
India had lost all five of their previous two-plus match series against England.
India Women won the fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series against England Women by a six-wicket margin. With this, they took an unassailable lead making the final match between the two teams nothing more than a dead rubber.
It was also a significant moment in India's cricketing history as far as women's cricket is concerned. This was the first time that they had won a T20I bilateral series of more than two matches against England after losing all five of their previous series.

Speaking of the fourth match which sealed the series for the visitors, it was a clinical display by the bowlers who kept England to 126/7 at the end of their 20-over quota. India chased down the score in 17 overs after losing only four wickets as compared to the opposition's seven.
Radha Yadav (2/15 in four overs) and Shafali Verma (31 off 19) were the standout performers for the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team. Harmanpreet contributed with a 26-run score off 25 deliveries. Interestingly, India got to their target without hitting a single maximum in their innings.
The fifth match of the series will be played at Edgbaston on Saturday, July 12. The hosts would be aiming to conclude the 20-over series on a high note before moving onto the ODI segment. The 50-over series is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 16.
