Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw cricketers tweeting from around the world. Afghanistan registered their first win in the World T20 after they managed to beat West Indies by 6 runs at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur. The team received appreciation for their efforts from everywhere. One the most important tweets came from West Indies legend Brian Lara who congratulated the rising Asian team for their jubilant efforts.

Mohammad Nabi, who played a important role in the win today, logged into Twitter immediately after the win to send out a cheeky message to all his fans. KKR and Mumbai batsman Surya Kumar Yadav tweeted about the crucial India v Australia game. Ivy Mae wished her dad David Warner ahead of the important clash. Sachin Tendulkar Faf du Plessis and many others wished their fans on the occasion of Easter.
