Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all parts of the world. It was a very special day in the calendar for all cricket lovers as it marked the birthday of the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar. Wishes from fans, current, and former cricketers poured in and flooded the Twitter.

The day became more special after his successor, Virat Kohli, celebrated the occasion by slamming his maiden T20 century. Kohli smothered the Gujarat Lions team at Rajkot to score a magnificent 100 off 63 balls studded with 11 fours and one maximum. Unfortunately, his effort went in losing cause as the Lions chased down the target pretty easily with 6 wickets in hands.

Dean Jones was in Mumbai searching for Elephant posters. Jonty Rhodes celebrated his daughter India’s first birthday. Stuart Broad was at the City Groud whereas James Taylor was enjoying the Leicester City match. Shahid Afridi was present at the launch event of SPL in Madina.
