Cricketing trends in Twitter today began with a few high profile birthdays including that of South African-born former England skipper Kevin Pietersen. Dale Steyn, one of the quickest fast bowlers of all time also celebrated his birthday.
Virender Sehwag, Pietersen’s former teammate with the Delhi Daredevils was one of the first people to wish him while Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina led the wishes for Steyn. Pietersen however, celebrated his birthday with a pint of his favorite beer.
Damien Fleming simply could not get over his excitement following the release of the Game of Thrones episode while Alex Tudor ran into Joel Garner. That said, here are some of the best Tweets in this edition of Cricketing trends in Twitter today.
