Cricketing trends in twitter today saw tweets coming in from all over the world. While South African batsman David Miller had a terrific day at the nets, Yusuf Pathan had a new profile picture. “Nawab of Najafgarh” Virender Sehwag was in awe of Wriddihiman Saha’s innings in the Irani Trophy final while Steve Smith was looking forward to Roger Federer’s match in the Australian Open.
While Jonny Bairstow was disgusted with I-Phone’s battery back-up, KP’s Australian summer was over. Ben Stokes still feels like a 9-year-old when the new kit arrives while JP Duminy had a great start to the day in Pearl valley. While Stephen Fleming congratulated the Perth Scorchers on a wonderful performance in the BBL, Trent Woodhill thanked Kevin Pietersen for all the efforts.
