Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all around the globe. Most of the talks and the social media feeds of the day encircled around the international cricket action and the build-up to the PSL finals. India were seen struggling against Australia in the Bengaluru Test as well. Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram was extremely delighted at seeing Lahore host the PSL finals. He said that there is no need to be at the stadium to hear the loud chants of the finale.

Meanwhile, pacer Umar Gul was ready to support his side Quetta Gladiators for the ultimate showdown. Azhar Mahmood rightly mentioned that the result of the match is important. However, the better prospect is no matter which team wins, cricket will be the eventual winner of the match. Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Hafeez welcomed the overseas players who joined both the sides and travelled to Pakistan for the finals.

Ian Bishop spoke on the same lines and hoped for a befitting end to the tournament for the sake of fans in Pakistan. India, who conceded a 48 runs lead on day 2, were seen struggling to pick the Australian wickets. Credit goes to the Aussie batsmen though, for adapting to the conditions so well. Michael Vaughan was not quite pleased with this. He exclaimed that it is surprising to see Australia play like a proper Test team yet again.
