Twitter was today buzzing with activities from cricketers around the world. Today on the Boxing Day and teams were prepared to play the last Test of the year on this special day. In the three Boxing Day matches today, Australia and West Indies played at the MCG while England and South Africa begun the first Test of the series at Durban. The Kiwis too squared off against Sri Lanka and won the first ODI.
Cricketers were also excited about the Boxing Day and expressed it through Twitter. Glenn McGrath had just landed in MCG to see rains pouring whereas Bishen Bedi cheered the Melbourne crowd despite bad weather. David Warner congratulated Usman Khawaja and Joe Burns for their outstanding batting today.
Virat Kohli was confident that Banglore Yodha will bounce back after losing. Bhajji applauded Bradd Hogg for his skill and love for the game. Mitchell Johnson tweeted after a workout whereas Gayle posed for picture before he was off to Sydney. Tim Bresnan wished Alex Haled on his Test debut. Jason Krejza wrote a column on Kane Williamson. Mark Boucher was out to play Golf whereas Mushfiqur Rahim was enjoying his time off the field.
