The cricketing trends on social medias revolved around a number of events. In the 2020 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Multan Sultans, led by Shan Masood, are currently the table toppers. Their last victory came against the Quetta Gladiators by 30 runs. Rilee Rossouw smashed the fastest century in the history of the tournament and powered his side to a victory. After the game Fawad Alam congratulated the Sultans and Rossouw for the stupendous show. Rohit Sharma, the Indian batsman who is recovering from a calf injury, spent time with some legends at the El Classico Party.
Shahid Afridi, the veteran Pakistan cricketer, celebrated his birthday and on the auspicious occasion, he was showered with love and praises. Meanwhile, England beat the West Indies at the Sydney Showground Stadium in the Women’s T20 World Cup. The victory helped them qualify for the semis. Danielle Wyatt, their opening batter, was over the moon after her team’s success. Tabraiz Shamsi was happy after South Africa beat Pakistan to qualify for the semis.
Wasim Jaffer went down the memory lane and remembered Sachin Tendulkar’s knock against Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup. In that game, Sachin couldn’t get a get, but India won the match comprehensively. Indian head coach Ravi Shastri was delighted with Ravindra Jadeja, who took an incredible catch during India’s second Test against new Zealand at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
