This weekend of IPL 2020 ended with two exciting matches. Double-headers have always been an integral part of the IPL since its inaugural season. Talking about the second encounter, fans erupted after Chennai Super Kings finally ended their woeful run. The Yellow Army, after registering three defeats, clinched the match against Kings XI Punjab to gather two vital points. While hunting 178-run total at Dubai, CSK’s opening pair of Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson decimated the KXIP bowling unit.

Stitching an incredible opening stand, the experienced duo steered CSK to an emphatic 10-wicket victory. Ardent CSK supporters finally had something to celebrate as their side put up a dominant batting show. With this win, the MS Dhoni-led side also moved up to the sixth position while KXIP slumped to the bottom place.

Meanwhile, wishes also poured in for southpaw Rishabh Pant who turned 23. He is regarded as one of the finest talents of the country and is currently plying his trade for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020.
