The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The Eliminator of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took place on Friday, November 6, between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. After David Warner and Co won the toss and elected to field, they restricted the Red Army to a below-par 131. During the innings, Moeen Ali got out for a duck off a free-hit and the mode of dismissal raised a few eyebrows if not a whole lot.

The left-hander tapped the ball and set off for a risky single. Rashid Khan, one of the best fielders doing the rounds, threw the stumps down at the non-striker’s end. Moeen ended up bagging a golden duck. Thereafter, a number of experts had their say on the dismissal. Jason Holder picked up three wickets and he conjured praises from Shai Hope, his teammate in the West Indies.

Bhuvnseshwar Kumar had some quality time to spend with his wife Nupur Nagar. The speedster was earlier ruled out of the tournament due to injury. Suryakumar Yadav was happy after scoring a half-century in the Qualifier 1 against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dubai.
