The thirteenth edition of the much-awaited Indian Premier League, after many delays, is finally going to hit the floors from September 19th in the UAE. The tournament had to be shifted from India due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Overcoming the hurdles, all franchises have already started training to get in rhythm before the T20 extravaganza unfolds. Mumbai Indians shared an interesting clip of their speedster Jasprit Bumrah, leaving fans amused. In the video, the Ahmedabad-born speedster was seen imitating spin bowlers and the franchise asked fans to guess the players from the video.

To notch up the excitement of this year’s IPL, the BCCI shared an anthem on Monday. Along with the schedule, the official Twitter handle of the IPL shared a song anthem for this year’s edition of the cash-rich league.

Delhi Capitals also shared an enthralling clip of their skipper Shreyas Iyer practicing with his willow in the nets. Similarly, Chennai Super Kings also shared a video of Faf du Plessis working on his catching in the training.

Many tweets also lauded England’s performance as they brushed Australia aside to clinch the T20I series. Jos Buttler hogged the headlines by delivering in both the T20Is. Former England skipper Michael Vaughan also lauded Buttler in a unique way while trolling himself.

Rajasthan Royals, meanwhile, suffered a potential blow as star all-rounder Ben Stokes is likely not going to play in the first phase of the IPL. Stokes is currently in New Zealand to be with his father Ged who is battling with brain cancer and he’s expected to spend time at home during such a time. According to reports, Royals will wait for Stokes to confirm his availability for the second phase of the cash-rich league.
