Mumbai Indians, on Monday, had shared an interesting clip of Jasprit Bumrah in the nets. Surprisingly, the speedster, who is known for his express pace and unorthodox action, was bowling spin in the training session. The franchise had asked fans to guess the six spin bowlers whom Bumrah was imitating. After receiving many tweets over the same, the Mumbai franchise finally spilled the beans on Bumrah’s imitations. One of them was Bumrah’s MI teammate and Sri Lanka veteran Lasith Malinga.

Many IPL sides have been sweating it out in the nets lately. Getting in shape before the commencement of this year’s IPL has been their top priority. To keep fans engaged, social media teams of all franchises have been sharing clips and pictures of players from their practice sessions. Along with batting and bowling, franchises have also been spending time in sharpening fielding skills of their squad members.

Chennai Super Kings, who recently have started training after suffering major blows, shared a hilarious clip featuring skipper MS Dhoni. The Ranchi stalwart looked in his signature witty style when he braced the field in the practice session. Flaunting his witty side, Dhoni took a dig at one of the batsmen as he said: “DRS nahi lenge, chinta mat kar (you won’t worry as they won’t take the DRS).”

CSK will be playing their first game against Mumbai Indian at Abu Dhabi on 19th September, which also happens to be the opening fixture of this year’s IPL.
