The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. Pakistan are scheduled to play the third Test against South Africa and then a five-match ODI series, starting December 19 and former cricketer Shahid Afridi wished the national team and also said that they are missing someone of the calibre of Wahab Riaz. 37-year-old South African all-rounder Albie Morkel announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
Morkel also shared a message on Twitter after calling it quits. Morne Morkel, his brother, got emotional and shared a heartfelt message after his loved one bid adieu to the sport. Proteas’ cricketer Faf du Plessis also wished the Transvaal-born for the glorious career. Retired England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff posted a video where he was doing push-ups. Mohammad Kaif praised David Warner and Steve Smith for ruling the Test rankings.
Indian batsman Rohit Sharma playfully asks Rishabh Pant to ‘babysit’ his daughter Samaira. Melbourne Stars scored 146 runs against Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL) and Michael Vaughan felt that it was a below par score. The Stars eventually lost by seven wickets at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Lisa Sthalekar was delighted after Indian captain Virat Kohli agreed to give an interview for the Bradman Museum. Forner cricketer Jacob Martin suffered a road accident and all-rounder Yusuf Pathan sent in wishes for him. Kedar Jadhav shared a video where he was seen honing in his skills in the nets with the bat in hand.

Good luck for the ODIs and third Test against S. Africa to team Pakistan. I feel that if pace is what we are lacking we should try and give a chance to Wahab Riaz in the squad. All the best Pakistan! 🇵🇰
