The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around Pakistan’s fantastic win over Zimbabwe in the T20I Tri-Series in the African nation. The No.1 ranked T20I side played like one and were thoroughly clinical in all the departments of the game. Zimbabwe though playing with a depleted team was no match. During the course of the game all-rounder Shoaib Malik also achieved the milestone of scoring 2000 runs in his Twenty20 career. A lot of Pakistani cricketers including the likes of Mohammad Hafeez, Salman Butt tweeted to congratulate him.

The Indian team had to make a couple of forced changes in their team and they added Deepak Chahar as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya for Washington Sundar in the T20I squad for the England tour.
