Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Manoj Tiwary, the veteran Bengal batsman, posted a picture showing how to stop Joe Root, the England skipper. In the opening Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Root became the Player of the Match after scoring a double ton in the first innings. His knock put the Three Lions on the drivers’ seat and helped them through to a win. Even in the second innings, he played a decent knock before being trapped in front by fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

Aakash Chopra, the former Indian cricketer, also talked about what Root did right in the first Test at the Chepauk. Rumman Raees, the Pakistan fast bowler, is all set to play in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League. The United couldn’t qualify for the playoffs last time around and would want to make amends in the upcoming T20 tournament.

Sanjay Manjrekar, the former Indian cricketer, said that the spinners need to have enough strength to get enough out of slow and low tracks. Umesh Yadav, the Indian fast bowler, posted a video where he can be seen bowling his heart out.
