The cricketing trends on the social media mostly revolved around the excitement surrounding the semi-final of FIFA World Cup between England and Croatia. English cricketers like Darren Gough and Ryan Sidebottom wanted their team to emerge triumphant and qualify for the final against France. Sachin Tendulkar also wanted the Three Lions to win. Ravi Ashwin reckoned that France will be tough to beat in the final.

Ben Duckett was busy watching the Wimbledon and was awestruck by Roger Federer, who qualified for the quarterfinal of the event. Australian pacer Andrew Tye was also in London to watch the tennis event. Danielle Wyatt got herself some new garments and she showed her excitement to wear them. Suresh Raina posted a picture in Nottingham, the venue for the first ODI between England and India.

Kevin Pietersen uploaded a picture at a golf club and had a fantastic day. The World Population Day is being celebrated today and former bowler RP Singh raised his concerns over the issue of population. Robert Key wished Geoffrey Boycott, who is recovering from an open heart surgery, for a speedy recovery.

Murali Vijay wished his team Ruby Trichy Warriors ahead of their match against the Dindigul Dragons in the Tamil Nadu Premier League. Isa Guha was happy by the English women’s show as they managed to beat New Zealand by 123 runs in an ODI at Derby.
