Here is how the cricketers spent their day on Twitter and Instagram today.

The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara was delighted after being a part of the 24th All India Forest Sports Meet in Raipur. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah wished everyone a very happy Uttarayan. Earlier, 31-year-old tennis star Andy Murray from Glasgow, United Kingdom, mentioned that the ongoing Australian Open could be his last tournament.
After his defeat against Bautista Agut in the Round of 128, a video floated where a number of people including the likes of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic shared some emotional moments on him. In the meantime, former English cricketer found that video bizarre as he felt that it should have been released after Murray officially announced his retirement. Murali Kartik shared a few pictures along with former teammates.
Shaun Tait praised fast bowler Riley Meredith, who picked up four wickets, representing Hobart Hurricanes’ in their match against Melbourne Stars at the iconic MCG. Tait reckons the speedster will get quicker as his career progresses. Wayne Parnell posted a picture where he can be seen comparing his own looks.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir expressed his gratitude to the Indian soldiers prior to the Army Day tomorrow. Graeme Smith congratulated Quinton de Kock after he scored a century against Pakistan at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. David Warner wished his daughter Ivy Mae on her birthday.

Good to see the rest of the Tennis world has retired Andy Murray off before he announces it himself … That was very very bizarre … Surely you wait for the player to announce his retirement before doing a player montage … #HowOdd #AusOpen
