The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, the first Test between India and Bangladesh got kicked-off. As it was the Day-1 of the game, so everyone expected a strong fightback from Bangladesh but the whole team of visitors’ got dismissed at a score of 150 runs. Indian bowlers gave an extraordinary performance as Mohammed Shami emerged as the star of the day, who took three wickets in his 13 overs for the day.

Also, the hosts didn’t get off to a great start and lost their in-form opener Rohit Sharma at the score of 16 runs. Later on, partnership of 72 runs stiched between Cheteshwar Pujara and Mayank Agarwal helped India to overcome their early setback. After, a brilliant show by the Indian bowlers, former cricketer Aakash Chopra applauded their effort.

Moreover, Sri Lanka Cricket Board gave a nod to play a two-match Test series in Pakistan that is scheduled to get kicked off from the next month and it was a sigh of relief for the Men in Green, who were waiting to play in front of their crowd in the longer format.
