The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Jaydev Unadkat, the Saurashtra fast bowler, posted a photo where he was putting his heart into designing his flat. He also said that his father would be proud of the same. Sourav Ganguly shared a stylish picture where he was wearing a pair of slippers. The fourth Ashes Test at the Old Trafford in Manchester is scheduled to get underway on September 4 and the ECB has named a 13-man squad for the penultimate game of the five-match series.

James Anderson has been ruled out and Craig Overton made a Test comeback after a gap of 17 months. Former Indian cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath turned 39 years old and he was showered with wishes. The likes of Ravi Ashwin and Washington Sundar, both of whom plays for Tamil Nadu, set wishes for Badrinath. Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar was happy after getting to interact with the fans in Melbourne. India A are set to play the second One Day versus South Africa A in Trivandrum on August 31.

Prior to the game, Manish Pandey, the skipper of the home team, posted a picture from the practice session, also involving Yuzvendra Chahal, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill. India A are currently leading the series 1-0 after their 69-run victory in the opening game at the same venue. The legendary Sachin Tendulkar tried his hand out in playing golf. Sam Billings is all geared up for Kent’s upcoming match in the T20 Blast versus Essex at the County Ground in Chelmsford.
