The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around Shane Watson’s scintillating century in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). While playing for the Sydney Thunder against the Brisbane Heat at the iconic Gabba, Watson smashed 100 off just 62 balls with eight fours and six massive maximums. After sizzling in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the 37-year-old is proving his mettle in the BBL as well showing that he is not finished yet.

Unfortunately, his knock didn’t finish at the winning side as the floodlight failure at the venue led to the match finishing in no result. The Heat had lost the Bash brothers and were 10/2 after three overs when the play was stopped. However, Watson deserved all the praise coming towards him as the current and former players lauded his efforts even at this age.

Meanwhile, there was also a lot of excitement around the deciding ODI between Australia and India which will be played at the iconic MCG on Friday. Shikhar Dhawan looked determined in the video he shared in which the left-hander was concentrating hard in the nets. He looked good in the last match and will be looking to make it count in the decider.
