World Test Championship. Well, that was the buzzword on social media in the world of cricket today. The Virat Kohli-led Indian side will clash against the Kane Williamson-led New Zealand outfit in Southampton on 18th June 2021, and the entire cricketing world is hugely excited about this eagerly awaited contest.

KL Rahul has stated that the whole country will be rooting for India in the WTC Final, while Rishabh Pant is ready for the ‘Ultimate’ Test. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has left out Ravindra Jadeja from his Indian playing XI for the WTC final.

Former England cricketer Michael Atherton feels that the WTC final between the Black Caps and the Indian side will be an even contest. Aakash Chopra has thrown up some interesting numbers regarding the number of matches played by different sides in the World Test Championship.
