Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Stuart Broad, the England fast bowler, was in awe of the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. Three Lions will be playing their third and fourth Test against India in Motera itself. The third Test is scheduled to get underway on February 24.

Broad didn’t play the opening Test at the Chepauk, but was a part of the second Test at the very venue. But he didn’t have much to do as the track was made for the spinners, who dictated terms for the most part of the game. The auction for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took place on Thursday, February 18. Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka didn’t find any buyer and former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani raised his eyebrows.

Hasaranga performed to expectations in the 2020 edition of the Lanka Premier League where he delivered with both bat and ball. Former Pakistan Test skipper Azhar Ali celebrated his birthday and on the auspicious occasion, he was showered with wishes. Last year, Azhar lost Test captaincy to Babar Azam.
