The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The coronavirus cases have been increasing at the rate of knots across the globe and it’s not showing signs of slowing down. On Thursday, March 19, India reported its fourth death, this time a 72-year-old man who died at a hospital in Punjab. He was having chest pains after he returned from Germany via Italy. Commercial flight landings will also be halted for a week from March 22 onwards. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the public at 8 PM. Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian cricketer, had a message on the COVID-19 virus.

Gulbadin Naib, the former Afghanistan cricketer, spent some time with his teammate Samiullah Shenwari in Kandahar. Dale Steyn, the South African fast bowler, was surprised how things have changed over the last few days due to the virus outbreak. He was recently a part of the 2020 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), representing the Islamabad United. However, he had to return back from his services midway through the T20 tournament.

Indian pacer Umesh Yadav posted an adorable picture with his wife. Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian speedster, wished his sister on birthday, uploading an adorable picture. Angelo Mathews wished Rangana Herath on the veteran’s birthday. Suresh Raina doesn’t get to go to the gym, but he has found a way to train hard with the help of a tree. Sikandar Raza was a happy man after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) conducted COVID-19 tests on the players and support staff.
