The much-awaited IPL 2020 is all set to start from September 19th in UAE and teams have already started assembling and leaving for the gulf country. Franchises like Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab shared photos of their players as they boarded the flight. The entire IPL 2020 will be played in a bio-secure environment, with the utmost safety measures amid COVID-19 pandemic.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ youngster Shubman Gill shared a clip with his family while departing from his house. Similarly, Delhi Capitals’ skipper Shreyas Iyer shared a picture with his family before leaving the country and staying away from home for more than two months.
Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile, shared a picture from their training camp featuring MS Dhoni. CSK are scheduled to depart for UAE on 21st August, after the completion of their training camp. Upon the international retirement of Dhoni, ardent cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see him brace the field in CSK jersey.
Dhoni also hogged the limelight after he shared PM Narendra Modi’s letter of appreciation. Modi penned down a letter appreciating Dhoni’s exemplary journey with the Indian side. The former Indian skipper thanked the PM for his wishes.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ skipper Dinesh Karthik also shared an adorable picture with wife Dipika Pallikal on their fifth marriage anniversary. Karthik had tied the know with the squash star in Indian as well as Christian style.
