The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around various events as cricketers took to their social media handles to express themselves. New Zealand and Pakistan locked horns in the second T20I of the three-match series and the hosts ended up winning the match comfortably. Pakistan top-order once again collapsed in the absence of Babar Azam.

But this is when Mohammad Hafeez stepped up and played a brilliant knock of 99* to propel the team’s score to 163/6 after 20 overs. New Zealand chased down the score with nine wickets in hand. Shoaib Akhtar was not happy with the players pointing out the technical flaws in their dismissals.

Meanwhile, Aakash Chopra wanted to know more about Mohammed Shami‘s injury. He has fractured his arm after being hit during the first Test in Adelaide and will now miss the rest of the Test series. Prithvi Shaw is in the news since the day-night Test and Brad Hogg also came up with a fun fact regarding his performance in Adelaide.
