The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of incidents, dominated by the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Rajasthan Royals (RR) locked horns with the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The Capitals, captained by Shreyas Iyer, won the toss and elected to field first and the hosts racked up 191 for six in 20 overs courtesy of Ajinkya Rahane’s century.

The 30-year-old scored his second IPL century in 58 balls and remained not out to guide his team to the substantial score. Subsequently, he received praises from the cricketing fraternity. Sachin Tendulkar said that he played a very smart knock and he paced it very well. Sanjay Manjrekar said the knock has given people an insight into Rahane’s mind. Irfan Pathan also didn’t miss out on praising the experienced player.

RP Singh believes that Ashton Turner has run out of luck. The Aussie batsman was brought by the Royals and today, he bagged three ducks in succession. Meanwhile, Pakistan batsman Asif Ali is travelling to the United States of America (USA) for her daughter’s cancer treatment.

Indian women’s cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues wished her teammate Radha Yadav on her 19th birthday. Rashid Khan posted a selfie with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team and called it the ‘selfie of the year’.
