Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, the first-ever Day-Night Test got kicked off at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The game was attended by many former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman. All the players cherished every moment on the historic occasion and shared it with their fans on social media.

However, the Day 1 of the game went into Team India‘s way, who dominated with their bowling and batting. Meanwhile, Anil Kumble shared a fascinating picture alongside six times World Amateur Boxing champion, MaryKom from the Eden Gardens.

Moreover, ahead of the important landmark game, the right-handed medium pacer, Siddarth Kaul wished the Indian team all his luck to perform well in the 2nd Test. On the other hand, Brad Hogg the former Aussie spinner shared his concern over the injury of Naseem Shah, young Pakistan fast bowler, who sustained an injury in the ongoing Test at The Gabba in Brisbane.

The ongoing Test between Pakistan and Australia has been surrounded by controversy over the ignorance of the umpires towards the no-balls being bowled. So, Dean Jones came out and took a dig at the bowlers bowling no-balls during the game.
