The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Suresh Raina, the discarded Indian batsman, has become father to his second child. He posted an adorable picture with Priyanka, his wife, and their newly born. Back in 2016, the couple gave birth to their first child Gracia, who now has a younger brother to play with. Raina has had a tough time and hasn’t played any cricket since the 2019 edition of the IPL. Last year, he also underwent a knee surgery. The 33-year-old Raina last donned the national colours on July 2018 when the Men in Blue toured England for a T20I and ODI series.

In the meantime, the coronavirus has continued to spit venom across the globe. The number of cases are now 353,681 with the death tolls going up to as high as 15,418. Italy has been going through a very rough patch. 59,138 cases have been reported with 5,476 people losing their lives. Shoaib Akhtar posted a few pictures of the Italian doctors, who have been working by the clock. The former Pakistan fast bowler lauded them for their hard work in the tough times.

The cricketers have also been spending some quality time. Shreyas Iyer posted video with his dog where both of them were seen playing. Gautam Gambhir posted a video where both of his daughters- Anaiza and Aazeen- were seen, watering the plants. David Warner shared a video where he daughter was seen, washing her hands with sanitizers.
