The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spin bowler, tried the knots on December 22 and he shared a few adorable pictures from their marriage ceremony with wife Dhanashree Verma. Chahal also posted some pictures from their Haldi ceremony and it was understandable that his happiness knew no bounds.
Naveen-ul-Haq, the Afghanistan fast bowler, was happy after being picked by Team India for the upcoming T10 League to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. Naveen had an impressive campaign while playing in the 2020 edition of the Lanka Premier League. Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian batsman, wished the legendary actor Anil Kapoor on the birthday.
Piyush Chawla celebrated his birthday as well and he was showered with wishes from his teammates. Junaid Khan, the Pakistan fast bowler, also had his birthday and Sohail Tanvir, another Pakistan speedster, wished him. Former spinner Brad Hogg wants Mohammed Siraj to replace Mohammed Shami for the Boxing Day Test, starting December 26. Shami has fractured his arm and has returned to India.
