Cricketing trends on social media today

Social media has gone wild after Ravindra Jadeja’s scintillating all-round display allowed the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to crush the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side by 69 runs. Not only did Jadeja score 62 runs with the bat, but he also scalped 3 wickets in the 4 overs that he bowled to allow the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to move to the top of the points table.

And, a plethora of cricketers have showered praise on Jadeja for his performance. While Irfan Pathan stated that there is nothing that Jadeja cannot do on the field, Hemang Badani opined that Jadeja has sliced the RCB side into pieces.

Michael Vaughan has once again brought up the BCCI contract debate and feels that Ravindra Jadeja should be in the A+ bracket of Indian cricketers. Meanwhile, Pakistan batting superstar Babar Azam completed a significant milestone in his T20I career and became the fastest batsman to score 2000 runs in T20I cricket. Azam got to the 2000 run mark faster than Indian batting legend Virat Kohli. And, the likes of Ahmad Shahzad, Russell Arnold, and Wahab Riaz have lauded Azam for his stupendous feat.
