The cricketing trends on the social media revolved mostly around the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rajasthan Royals (RR) locked horns with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra believed that the hosts, captained by Ajinkya Rahane, have a balanced lineup on paper. Retired Indian fast bowler RP Singh also analyzed the Kings’ squad.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are scheduled to play their second match against the Royals in Hyderabad on Friday, March 29. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Siddarth Kaul posted a couple of adorable pictures with their better halves while being on the flight to Hyderabad. Harbhajan Singh was happy for Yuvraj Singh after the latter scored a half-century against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Shubman Gill heaped praises on his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after his team managed to get over the line against the Sunrisers by six wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Karun Nair and Steve Smith expressed their eagerness to start their campaign in the cash-rich and prestigious IPL.

Iqbal Abdullah wished Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh all-rounder, on his 32nd birthday. Abdullah and Shakib have played together earlier for the Knight Riders. AB de Villiers posted a selfie inside the cab with his teammates of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
