Cricketing Trends on Social Media today
Here's how the cricketers spent their day on Twitter and Instagram today.

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Shakib Al Hasan thanked Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for preparing food and sending it to his home. The all-rounder shared the pictures of Hasina with wife Umme Ahmed Shishir and daughter Alaina. The Magura-born cricketer also uploaded the pictures of the food items. At the Eden Park in Auckland, India won the second T20I against New Zealand by seven wickets with 15 balls to spare.
The Black Caps could only manage 132 in their 20 overs. The hosts could score 84 runs in their last 16 overs. Irfan Pathan lauded the Indian attack for showing enough accuracy. Ravindra Jadeja was India’s standout bowler as he picked up a couple of crucial wickets, giving away only 18 runs in his quota of four overs. Aakash Chopra happy with how the left-arm spinner bowled. In the run-chase, KL Rahul shone, scoring back-to-back half-centuries.
He got the apt support from Shreyas Iyer, who got 44 off 33. Though Iyer got out to Ish Sodhi, the Men in Blue sailed home with sheer ease without dropping much sweat. The Indian players, including skipper Virat Kohli and Iyer posted picture to celebrate India’s victory. Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanvir posted a video where he was seen playing with his kid. Australia Test captain Tim Paine was over the moon after Matthew Wade scored a century against the Adelaide Strikers.
