The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around India’s sensational series win over New Zealand in the first three matches itself of the five-game series. The Indian bowling attack was at the helm once again as they made early inroads yet again to leave the opposition reeling. New Zealand could only post 243 runs batting first on a decent wicket and the Indians chased down without breaking a sweat.

The former cricketers from both the countries were in awe of the Indian team’s performance. Danny Morrison, VVS Laxman, Sanjay Manjrekar were among many who felt that the Men in Blue were playing at another level. Meanwhile, the focus was on Hardik Pandya who returned to the field after four months due to injury and the controversy on Koffee with Karan due to which he was suspended.

However, he made amends for everything in his comeback game. Pandya first plucked a sensational catch to send back Kane Williamson and then picked two wickets with the ball to keep the run-scoring in check. The all-rounder, after the match, was thankful to his followers for all the support and wishes.
