Cricketing Trends on Social Media today
Here's how the cricketing fraternity spent their day on social media.

The cricketing trends on social media today revolved mostly around India’s Asia Cup triumph in Dubai as they won the thrilling final by just three wickets. While the cricketing fraternity was busy hailing the team over the scintillating victory, even the team members themselves took to their official Twitter handles to express their delight by sharing the pictures inside the dressing room much to the delight of their fans who loved the way the team performed throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Indian Test squad for the upcoming two-match Test series has been selected and Mayank Agarwal has been awarded a place in the side finally for his consistency in the domestic circuit. The fraternity was delighted for him even as Mohammed Siraj also was included in the squad for the first time after consistent performances for India A side recently.
However, the likes of Karun Nair, Dinesh Karthik and Shikhar Dhawan were axed and Aakash Chopra felt bad for Nair who didn’t get even a chance to play and was dropped. Even Rohit Sharma hasn’t been considered for the Tests and it seems that India’s limited-overs openers will have to stay content with the fact that their Test career is all but over.
1. Chopra sad for Nair
Spare a thought for Karun Nair. He’s lost out to Vihari in the race for the 6th batsman…..without even getting a chance to run. Sat out 6 Tests…dropped without getting a game. #IndvWI
