Cricketing Trends on Social Media today
Here's how the fraternity spent its day on social media platforms.

Without a doubt, most of the cricketing trends revolved around the World Cup 2019 final between New Zealand and England on Sunday. There was a lot of talk about the umpiring standards in this match. There were a few mistakes made and Aakash Chopra didn’t like it. After a close call, Scott Styris tweeted that he officially hated the DRS now. Meanwhile, former English skipper Michael Vaughan opined that the way DRS is used could potentially determine the outcome of a game.
The other trends revolved around the Wimbledon Final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Shikha Pandey and Unmukt Chand seemed to be confused about which channel they had to tune in to. The woman cricketer shared a picture where she was watching both these games at a time. Sam Billings met his childhood hero Sachin Tendulkar during the World Cup final. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly shared a selfie that he clicked ahead of this big encounter.
On the other hand, Chris Gayle already seems to be excited about his 40th birthday party and is prepping up for some big celebrations. Suresh Raina shared a picture where he was spotted enjoying his time by a canal. Imam-ul-Haq wished Babar Azam the best for the T20 Blast in England.
