The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) sixth loss on the trot in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). They went down meekly against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Bengaluru after posting a competitive 149 runs on the board. The home team dropped the catches again and while the DC tried to make the match interesting, it was, in the end, an easy victory.

The former cricketers felt bad for Virat Kohli as he looked low on the field after yet another bad show by his team. He kept faith in the same set of players for this game as well but the team let him down with his show. Meanwhile, Mohammad Kaif, the DC assistant coach, expressed his elation as the team put on a clinical show and they got back to the winning ways in the season.

Meanwhile, Steve Smith propelled the Rajasthan Royals to a competitive total in the game against the KKR. The pitch was extremely tough to bat on and somehow the home team managed to get to 139 runs on the board. It will be interesting to see how the KKR play on a similar surface.
