The cricketing trends on social media today saw the cricketers from all over the world interact with their followers across platforms. Topics around cricket on social media today were interesting considering the day was full of action, from criticism around England in the Ashes to the Marsh brothers’ performance, from Virender Sehwag motivating Indian players to bounce back to Ed Cowan thinking that Afghanistan will make it to the T20 World Cup semis next time, the day was as exciting as it gets.

Yesterday it was Mohammad Nabi from Afghanistan, today it was Rashid Khan, lighting up the BBL with their skills and Kevin Pietersen praise the leggie for his Man of the Match performance for the Adelaide Strikers after his 2 for 21 and a 16-run cameo in the last over. Michael Vaughan expressed his problems with how predictable the Ashes series has become and believes Australia had a better chance of winning at the UK, in comparison to how bad England’s chances of winning in Australia became.
